Tiesto

DJ Tiësto, właśc. Tijs Verwest (ur. 17 stycznia 1969r. w Bredzie), Holender, jeden z najbardziej znanych DJ-ów na świecie. W latach 1985-1993 współpracował z kilkunastoma klubami w Holandii. W połowie lat 90. zaczął komponować utwory trance. W 1997r. wraz z Arny Binkiem założył Black Hole Recordings. Tworzył wspólnie nagrania z takimi producentami jak Armin van Buuren (w projekcie Alibi) czy Ferry Corsten (Gouryella). Tiësto był pierwszym DJ-em na świecie obdarzonym przez "DJ Magazine" tytułem "No. 1. in the World" trzy razy z rzędu. Wystąpił na otwarciu Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Atenach w 2004 roku. W Polsce Tiësto występował dwukrotnie. W 2004 r. roku zagrał w Lesznie, a w 2005 r. w Hali Ludowej we Wrocławiu w ramach Tiesto CEE Tour. W 2004r. 3-krotnie uznany przez DJ Mag za najlepszego DJ'a na swiecie.
